Mount Soldering/Rework Course
This IPC-7711 certified two day course covers the skills needed for surface mount component soldering, rework and inspection. Course includes, a review of handling procedures and soldering basics. Students learn what makes a solder joint acceptable according to IPC guidelines. Students practice methods for soldering and removal of chip, J leaded and gull wing components. Who Should Attend? Operators, technicians, training instructors, anyone who requires a working knowledge of the latest rework and repair techniques for standard and fine pitch surface mount components. Certification Upon completing the course each student receives an IPC-7711 certification from Circuit Technology Center confirming that they understand the science of high quality surface mount soldering and rework, and have demonstrated the competent skills necessary for meeting the demands of modern electronic packaging.
