Gold Contact Plating System
Here’s the perfect system for replating solder-contaminated
gold edge contacts, contacts that don’t meet the minimum thickness spec, or
when the spec changes. The system includes a power supply with separate voltage
and current meters, a non-slip board holder that keeps the circuit board at the
correct angle, and a solution tray that keeps plating probes and plating
solutions in place. Plating probes use pre-wrapped, screw-on plating anodes to
end the common problems associated with loosely wrapped cotton anodes. Plating solutions
are available separately.

This system is ideal for replating gold connector edge contacts
that have become contaminated with solder.

Plating solutions are available in kits or individually. Each kit includes containers of
gold plating solution, nickel plating solution, electroclean preparation solution, and solder strip
chemical stripping solution.
Standard Plating Probes use pre-wrapped, screw on Dacron covered plating anodes to end the
common problems associated with loosely wrapped cotton anodes.
Small Plating odes handle the smallest contacts and pins.
